We supported LaRedoute with the launch of their rebrand by producing social media video content for their entire fashion and interior range across several product categories. We worked with box fresh brand collateral provided by the lead French agency which presented an exciting new direction for LaRedoute with vivid contrasting colours and bold use of type.
Curate don't create
For us, this was initially a huge editing task working with over 1000s of individual assets, we first curated several mood and storyboards to capture current trends in each product category from accessories & decor, soft furnishings, and outdoor furniture to fashion for him, her (& the kids) working with all the big brands.
Share the process
We then produced several motion design templates to test and explore the various uses of fonts, imagery and colour ways to establish what the new brand direction would look and feel like in a time-based medium. Having working, moving models or prototypes, even if they’re low fidelity and in black & white, as early as possible in the process only helps to further inform discussions with the client and get that all-important sign-off - crucial when you’re working with so much source material.
More is more
Finally, we brought it all to life through motion design and animated typography through a mix of several 7-15 second stings alongside longer form (2 minute) content designed for all the socials.
